About

A small farm tending plants, pollinators, and a quieter kind of medicine.

Hello — I'm Kendra.

wild garden medicinals is the small herbal apothecary and pollinator sanctuary I tend at Eagle Mill Farm, just north of Ashland, Oregon. The land sits in the Bear Creek watershed, between the Siskiyou and Cascade foothills, on the unceded homeland of the Shasta, Takelma, and Latgawa peoples.

I came to this work the long way around — through gardens, kitchens, mothering, grief, and the steady, undramatic teaching of plants. Everything here is grown, wild-tended, or ethically-sourced, and made in small batches, by hand, with attention.

This farm isn't a brand. It's a relationship — with soil, seasons, neighbors, bees, and the people who let our medicine into their homes.

The land

Eagle Mill Farm is a few acres of cultivated medicinal beds, perennial flower borders, hedgerows, a creek, and a working pollinator corridor. We farm without synthetic pesticides or herbicides, rotate beds for soil health, and leave a meaningful portion of the land in flower for the bees year after year.

The farm is certified as a Pollinator Steward — read more about what that means and how we maintain habitat on the pollinator stewardship page.

Our values

  • ReciprocityWe take only what the land freely offers, and give back in compost, cover crop, hands, and habitat.
  • Small batchesMedicine made in jars, not vats — so we can stay in relationship with every plant.
  • WelcomeThe farm is for queer folks, parents, herbalists, kids, elders, beginners, and anyone called to be here.
